First of all, let’s start with the departments that work in our our company. Our company is organized by Sales team, After Sales team, Sourcing team, Operation team, Packing team, Finance team, IT team and Marketing team.
1) Sales team
The daily work of sales man will mainly about talking to new dropshippers and make deal with them, in the meanwhile they will also need to have good relationship with old clients. These are their priority, but there are many trivial things as well.
1. Send new quotation requests to sourcing team
2. Take pics for new clients when they receive new products
3. Explain how everything works for our ERP system to new clients when they connect store
4. Keep an eye on the tracking of clients’ orders and push logistic company when necessary
5. Make payment link and invoices when clients need to pay
6. Deal with refund and resend request
7. Send the messages that come from logistic company when there is sth wrong with the delivery
8. Send order bill everyday when clients have orders (Will explain order bill when it comes to Finance team)
9. Communicate with different departments and make sure clients’ requests get confirmed so there won’t be any mistakes.
2) After Sales team
After sale team works similar with Sales team, their main job is helping Sales team with trivial things so Sales man can focus on working on dealing with new clients and not get distracted.
3) Sourcing team
It’s a very essential department in our company, since they will manage to get the good prices for dropshippers. Their main jobs are getting quotations for the new products and arrange to buy when clients are satisfied with the price .
But pls be patient with the quotations, sometimes it could take hours since our Sourcing team need to compare quality and price with different manufacturers and then make the best decision.
4) Operation team
People might feel it’s just about fulfill orders, actually sometimes it also can be tricky.
1. Connect stores, it will be much easier when clients trust us and give all the access
2. Download orders and fulfill orders
3. Find new products on client’s stores and send to Sourcing team to get quotation
4. Notice refund orders or no detail address orders and send to Sales team to tell the clients
5. Handle CSV orders when clients don’t want to connect store
5) Packing team
It’s of course all about packing but not just about packing. They will need to be very careful with many things so clients’ orders won’t have problems.
1. Quality check before shipping out
2. Choose the best way to pack to protect the product
3. Make sure different clients’ products are separated so the products won’t get mistook.
4. Make sure the quantity is correct when we receive products from manufacturers
5. Any problem they will need to tell Sales man to confirm with clients.
6) Finance team
It will mainly about order bill for our clients. The order bill is calculated based on the quotation we send to our clients. Daily orders’ tracking, detailed cost and stock statue will be contained in the daily sheet of the orders bill. All in all, clients can see where their money goes if they pay deposit which makes everything clearly.
7) IT team
IT team has way more things than we can imagine and it's hard described, anyway it’s about programs, set our website and show our company, create our own system and make everything works in the computer.They created our website and APP, website and APP optimization can make customers have a better browsing experience.
8) Marketing team
Our Marketing team will take videos of our services and write contents to show more of us so dropshippers will come to know more about us. Gathering info, taking videos and writing content are a piece of cake but it still will take much time since figuring out what attracts dropshippers will be the toughest thing during the procedure. And what they can bring you are resources like mentor resources, website building resources, promotion resources, etc. Everything will make it easier for your business to be handled more properly.
All in all, different departments makes GSR works, it’s never about a sales man deal with all the clients on his own, it’s about a team working together to fix clients problems and make everything easier for clients. This is the most attractive thing of dropshipping!
